CVE-2022-22486Network attack vector

Authenticated information disclosure via external entity resolution

Published Feb 2, 2023 · Updated Mar 27, 2025

XXE in IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler 9.4, 9.5, and 10.1 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive information through crafted XML. The Create Job on Broker page processes attacker-controlled XML with external entity resolution enabled, allowing referenced content to enter parser output. IBM's bulletin scores access as requiring low privileges, while later CNA and NVD vectors list no required privileges; entity expansion can also consume memory.
