Privileged partition firmware compromise

An undisclosed flaw in IBM PowerVM Hypervisor FW950 and FW1010 allows remote authenticated users to compromise partition firmware. IBM has not published the defective firmware component or the operation that improperly handles privileged FSP or partition activity. Exploitation requires FSP service access on POWER9 to affect any configured partition, or administrative authority in a partition to alter its firmware.
