Authentication bypass in IBM Storage Defender Copy Data Management 2.2.0.0 through 2.2.15.0 allows local users to access catalog metadata. The Admin component lacks proper session management and accepts a local session without enforcing the intended authentication restrictions. Local access is required, and the bypass exposes catalog metadata without reported ability to modify data or interrupt service.
