Credential disclosure via Web UI script injection
Published Sep 28, 2022 · Updated May 20, 2025
Cross-site scripting in IBM Application Gateway 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to expose session credentials through the Web UI. The Web UI accepts user-supplied content and embeds arbitrary JavaScript into rendered pages without neutralizing executable input. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and interaction by a trusted session, and it can read credentials or alter content in that session.
