Authenticated script injection in Web UI
Published Jul 8, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM Security Verify Access 10.0.0.0 through 10.0.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in the Web UI. The Web UI accepts user-supplied script content without effective output neutralization, allowing injected code to execute in a trusted session and alter page behavior. A low-privilege authenticated session and user interaction with the affected page are required; reported impact is credential disclosure and limited integrity changes, not service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
