CVE-2022-22361Network attack vector

Unauthorized console actions via incomplete CSRF protection

Published May 31, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in IBM Business Automation Workflow and Business Process Manager allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized actions. The Process Admin Console incompletely applies the double-submit cookie pattern, accepting attacker-supplied requests under a trusted user's session. Exploitation requires that trusted user to interact with attacker-controlled content; resulting actions carry the user's console authority.
