CVE-2022-22332Network attack vector

User impersonation via unrevoked JWT acceptance

Published Apr 1, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Authentication weakness in IBM Sterling Partner Engagement Manager 6.2.0 allows remote attackers to impersonate another user via APIs. The API authentication mechanism continues to accept JWTs after they should be revoked because it lacks token revocation. Network access to an API and possession of such a token are required, enabling actions with the impersonated user's authority.
