CVE-2022-22329Network attack vector

Session cookie disclosure via missing Secure attribute

Published Sep 13, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Information disclosure in IBM Control Desk 7.6.1 allows remote attackers to obtain session cookies through cleartext HTTP requests. The application creates authorization-token and session cookies without the Secure attribute, so browsers attach them to attacker-supplied HTTP links. Exploitation requires user interaction and network traffic visibility; exposed cookie values can compromise an authenticated session, while no integrity or availability impact is reported.
