CVE-2022-22327Network attack vector

Sensitive-data decryption via ignored TLS protocol configuration

Published Apr 1, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Weak TLS enforcement in IBM DevOps Deploy 7.0.5, 7.1.0, 7.1.1, and 7.1.2 allows remote attackers to decrypt sensitive data. Web-agent communication uses the JVM's system-default TLS protocol instead of the non-default install.server.ssl.enabledProtocols value configured for the application. Exposure requires that property to hold a non-default value; affected deployments can negotiate weaker protocols and expose highly sensitive information to decryption.
