Information disclosure in IBM MQ for HPE NonStop 8.1.0 allows local users to read a plaintext channel password from a queue manager trace. The queue manager tracing logic records a password flowing over an MQ channel in plaintext within trace files. Exposure requires tracing to be active and local access to the resulting trace file; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
