CVE-2022-22318

User impersonation via unexpired logged-out sessions

Published Jun 20, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Insufficient session expiration in IBM Cúram Social Program Management 8.0.0 and 8.0.1 allows local users to impersonate another user. Some modal dialogs fail to invalidate their server-side session after logout or timeout, leaving the authenticated session usable. Exploitation requires access to such a lingering session; the bounded consequence is user impersonation within the application.
