Cleartext key storage in affected FortiOS and FortiAuthenticator releases allows local users to read push-service private keys. The products write private keys used for Apple Push Notification and Google Cloud Messaging to filesystem files without encryption; Fortinet has not identified the paths. Local filesystem access is required, and the disclosed impact is limited to exposure of keys used for those push-service communications.
