OS command injection in affected FortiIsolator releases allows privileged authenticated users to execute commands in the underlying shell. The CLI passes specially crafted input parameters to OS commands without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Access requires a privileged authenticated CLI account, and injected commands execute with the vulnerable appliance process's authority.
