Improper access control in Telecom on Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Feb-2022 Release 1 allows local users to launch arbitrary activities. A dynamically registered receiver accepts requests from untrusted applications without enforcing a permission before launching an activity. The gate is execution of an untrusted application on an affected Android 10, 11, or 12 device; Samsung reports no availability impact.
