CVE-2022-22283

Account data exposure via lingering session

Published Jan 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper session management in Samsung Health before 6.20.1.005 allows local users to retain account access after device removal. The inactive-device removal flow fails to invalidate the app's authenticated session, so the account remains logged in. An existing authenticated session and interaction with device removal are required; the lingering access exposes Samsung Health account data.
