Improper TCP channel restriction in SonicWall SonicOS Gen 7 allows remote attackers to interrupt DMZ hosts through WAN HTTP/S traffic. The WAN-to-DMZ forwarding path permits inbound HTTP/S traffic to bypass security policy until the TCP handshake completes, exposing a vulnerable target host to resource exhaustion. Exposure requires HTTP/S traffic from the WAN to a vulnerable DMZ host; public sources identify denial of service but not the exact failure mode.
