Permission bypass in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows attackers to compromise data confidentiality when NFC client apps access the TEE. The NFC module fails to enforce the required permission when its client applications access the Trusted Execution Environment; Huawei has not disclosed the faulty check. Affected releases are HarmonyOS 2.0 and EMUI 10.0.0, 10.1.0, 10.1.1, 11.0.0, 11.0.1, and 12.0.0; the attacker-controlled input and access precondition remain undisclosed.
