Authenticated data exposure via XPath command injection
Published Oct 18, 2022 · Updated May 9, 2025
XPath injection in Juniper Networks Junos OS J-Web allows remote authenticated users to expose data by injecting XPath commands. J-Web improperly incorporates attacker-controlled input into its XPath stream, permitting an added XPath command to alter query evaluation. Access requires authentication to the network-reachable management interface; Juniper reports only partial confidentiality loss, with further impact dependent on chaining with unspecified vulnerabilities.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
