Session script execution via reflected J-Web input
Published Oct 18, 2022 · Updated May 9, 2025
Reflected XSS in J-Web in affected Juniper Networks Junos OS releases allows remote attackers to run scripts in a user's session. J-Web reflects attacker-controlled input into a page without sufficient output neutralization, causing the browser to interpret the input as script. The attacker needs no account, but a J-Web user must open the crafted request; execution remains confined to that user's J-Web browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
