Routing daemon crash via unchecked return value

NULL-pointer dereference in rpd in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved 21.4 and 22.1 allows local users to crash and restart rpd. In an SR-to-LDP interworking setup with SRMS, rpd fails to check a return value when an ABR leaks S-flagged SRMS entries from IS-IS Level 2 to Level 1; a specific low-privilege CLI command then dereferences the resulting null pointer. The device must run both IS-IS levels with Segment Routing enabled, contain the leaked mapping entries, and accept the command from a low-privilege account; exploitation terminates and restarts the routing daemon, interrupting routing service.
