Adjacent DoS via unvalidated IPv6 MPLS packet

Improper input validation in Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows adjacent attackers to cause denial of service via a specific transit IPv6 packet over MPLS. The Packet Forwarding Engine processes this packet without adequate validation, causing the forwarding card to crash and reboot. IPv4-only configurations are unaffected, while continued receipt of the packet sustains the outage.
