CVE-2022-22182Network attack vector

Command execution via crafted J-Web URL

Published Apr 14, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Cross-site scripting in Juniper Networks Junos OS J-Web allows remote attackers to execute commands in a user’s session via a crafted URL. Juniper has not disclosed the affected J-Web endpoint, URL parameter, or exact output-encoding failure that permits attacker-controlled content to execute. J-Web must be enabled and a target user must visit the URL; resulting commands inherit that user’s permissions, including administrator permissions.
