SNMP service crash via crafted packet sequence

Denial of service in the snmpd daemon in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows remote attackers to halt SNMP service. After a specific number of crafted SNMP packets, snmpd releases memory illegally and terminates with SIGSEGV. SNMP must be enabled; all protocol versions are affected, and service remains unavailable until an administrator manually restarts the daemon.
