Adjacent service interruption via unchecked PPPoE message

Unchecked error handling in Junos OS on MX Series allows remote attackers on the adjacent access network to restart smgd via PPPoE. The subscriber management daemon fails to handle a specific PPPoE client message when one session group contains both dual-stack settings and a pp0 interface, causing the daemon to crash and restart. The condition requires that unsupported subscriber configuration and permits repeated service interruption without authentication; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.
