CVE-2022-22140

Unauthenticated command execution via unescaped serialNum

Published Aug 5, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025

OS command injection in TCL LINKHUB Mesh Wi-Fi AC1200 MS1G_00_01.00_14 allows remote attackers to execute commands via a network packet. The ucloud_add_node handler inserts the packet-controlled serialNum value into an echo command, and doSystemCmd passes the resulting string to system() without escaping. Access to the router-provided Wi-Fi is required; successful injection runs arbitrary operating-system commands on the appliance.
