Stored XSS in Directus 9.0.0-alpha.4 through 9.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts via uploaded HTML profile avatars. The media upload path accepts HTML files and serves them as active content without a Content-Security-Policy that blocks their embedded scripts. A low-privileged account must upload the file and persuade an administrator or another user to open it, causing script execution in that viewer's browser.
