Employee-level absence disclosure via unchecked calendar authorization
Published Jan 5, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Bottelet DaybydayCRM and Flarepoint CRM 2.0.0 through 2.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to read absence data. The UsersController calendarUsers method returned every user with related department and absence records without checking the caller's absence-view permission. An employee account was sufficient to expose records belonging to other employees and administrators; no data modification or service interruption was reported.
