Kernel memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms allows local users to corrupt protected memory by racing a mapping-reference operation. Qualcomm identifies the locus only as kernel mapping-reference acquisition and has not disclosed the function, object-lifetime transition, or exact corruption primitive. Local low-privilege access is required; exploitation can expose or alter protected data and interrupt device operation.
