Hypervisor takeover via unprotected boot remapper

Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon hypervisor firmware allows local users to read and write protected EL2 memory through the boot remapper. The hypervisor leaves the non-secure APCS_BOOT_START_ADDR_NSEC register and remapped window accessible from EL1, bypassing stage 2 translation. Exploitation requires a modified or compromised operating-system kernel and can replace hypervisor code, break virtual-machine isolation, or interrupt the device.
