Path traversal in the login function of ASUS RT-AX56U 3.0.0.4.386.44266 allows remote attackers on the local network to download arbitrary files. The login handler inadequately filters special characters in URL parameters, allowing an attacker-selected path to escape the intended directory restriction. Exploitation requires local-network access and no authentication; the documented consequence is disclosure of files reachable through restricted system paths.
