Drive decryption via incomplete nested BCD validation

BitLocker boot validation in affected Microsoft Windows releases allows physically proximate attackers to expose protected drive data. The boot manager checks only one level of nested BCD associated options, letting a crafted BCD hide dangerous settings such as debug from legacy integrity validation. Physical access, a crafted BCD, and legacy integrity validation are required; successful exploitation permits BitLocker key-table extraction and decryption of protected data.
