Information disclosure in Microsoft Media Foundation on affected Windows releases allows local users to read portions of heap memory. Microsoft has not published the exact parsing locus or the operation that mishandles attacker-controlled content. Exploitation requires user interaction with content handled by Media Foundation, and disclosure is limited to small portions of heap memory.
