Windows Media Center in affected Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 builds allows local users to interrupt service. Microsoft has not published the vulnerable update locus or the operation it performs incorrectly on attacker-controlled input. Affected builds precede 6.1.7601.25898, 6.2.9200.23645, or 6.3.9600.20303 by product; low-privileged local access is required, and only availability is affected.
