Administrative access via crafted credential string
Published Jun 30, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
Improper authentication in Exemys RME1-AI firmware 2.1.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to perform administrative operations. The device web interface accepts a specific credential string without correctly validating it against the configured authentication scheme. Network access to the HTTP interface is sufficient to bypass its password gate and reach password-protected configuration functions.
