Unauthenticated disk exhaustion via unthrottled log writes

Missing authentication in spacewalk-java in SUSE Manager Server 4.1 and 4.2 allows remote attackers to exhaust server disk space. The unauthenticated /rhn/manager/frontend-log endpoint accepts attacker-controlled POSTed level and message values and appends them without throttling to /var/log/rhn/rhn_web_frontend.log. Repeated large requests grow the unrotated log until available disk space is exhausted, interrupting the server without affecting confidentiality or integrity.
