CVE-2022-21948Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Access-token disclosure via executable SVG uploads

Published Feb 7, 2023 · Updated Mar 25, 2025

XSS in openSUSE paste b57b9f87e303a3db9465776e657378e96845493b and earlier allows remote attackers to read access tokens via SVG uploads. The image-upload path accepts SVG files without neutralizing embedded JavaScript and preserves the script in the hosted file. Execution requires a user to open the uploaded SVG; the script can read an exposed access token that grants access to other services behind the same identity provider.
