Command injection in Johnson Controls iSTAR Ultra firmware before 6.8.9.CU01 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root via HTTP. The controller's HTTP interface passes attacker-controlled data from a crafted POST request into an operating-system command context without neutralizing command elements. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants full root control of the Linux-based door controller.
