Reflected XSS via unescaped request URI
Published Oct 31, 2022 · Updated May 7, 2025
Reflected XSS in Envira Gallery Lite before 1.8.4.7 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through a crafted request URI. The plugin writes $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] into an HTML attribute on its admin add-ons page without context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to open an attacker-crafted link in an older browser, allowing script execution in that user's WordPress session.
