Client resource compromise via RDP pipe impersonation

Remote code execution in Microsoft Windows RDP allows remote authenticated users to compromise other users’ redirected client resources. Remote Desktop Services creates named-pipe servers with permissions that let another local RDP user create the same pipe endpoint and intercept redirected virtual-channel traffic. Exploitation requires a standard account on the RDP host and another user to connect with drive, clipboard, or smart-card redirection, enabling client data access, modification, or impersonation.
