Improper certificate validation in Microsoft Windows allows local users with low privileges to spoof trusted certificates. Microsoft has not published the affected certificate-validation component or the exact incorrect operation performed on certificate input. Successful exploitation subverts certificate trust on the same host and can compromise data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
