CVE-2022-21819

System-wide read/write via IOMMU misconfiguration

Published Mar 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Incorrect access control in Jetson Linux on NVIDIA Jetson Nano before 32.7.1 allows attackers to read and write system memory via PCI. An IOMMU configuration error leaves PCI-bus transactions able to access the entire system address space. Physical access to the board is required, and exploitation can enable denial of service, code execution, privilege escalation, and loss of data confidentiality or integrity.
