Remote reboot via buffer-size integer overflow
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Integer overflow in netserver recv_command in Reolink RLC-410W 3.0.0.136_20121102 allows remote attackers to reboot the camera via a crafted request. The function calculates an invalid body-buffer size, leaves the buffer unallocated, and passes it to recv_body, causing a null-pointer dereference. No authentication or user interaction is required; a malicious network packet reboots the device and interrupts video service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
