Weak password hashing in affected Airspan Networks Mimosa products allows remote authenticated users to recover stored passwords. The password-storage path applies MD5 directly without a unique salt, enabling efficient offline guessing and reuse of work across identical passwords. Exploitation requires possession of stored hashes; successful cracking discloses account passwords but does not directly alter data or interrupt service.
