CVE-2022-2179Network attack vector

Credential theft via missing anti-framing header

Published Jul 20, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025

Clickjacking in Rockwell Automation MicroLogix web servers allows remote attackers to steal authentication credentials through framed pages. The optional HTTP server omits the X-Frame-Options header, allowing its interface to be embedded beneath deceptive content on an untrusted site. Exploitation requires network access to HTTP port 80 and user interaction; all 1100 versions and 1400 21.007 and earlier are affected.
