Uncontrolled resource consumption in MediaTek Wi-Fi firmware on Android 11.0 and 12.0 allows remote attackers to crash affected systems. The firmware uses a count without the required check, permitting excessive resource consumption until the system crashes. No authentication, additional execution privileges, or user interaction is required; the published consequence is a crash, not code execution.
