Server crash via recursive locale-prefixed asset routing

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Vercel Next.js 12.0.0 through 12.0.8 allows remote attackers to crash self-hosted servers. A locale-prefixed request beneath /_next/ re-enters routing during internal rendering because the static-asset check fails to terminate, causing an infinite request-processing loop and heap overflow. The server must use next start or a custom server with built-in i18n, while upstream invalid-request filtering prevents exposure.
