Service interruption via static conversion-context retention
Published Jan 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Uncontrolled resource consumption in Micronaut Core before 3.2.7 allows remote attackers to exhaust memory with invalid Content-Type headers. DefaultArgumentConversionContext is erroneously reused in static conversion state, causing invalid media-type conversion data to remain reachable. Any unauthenticated client that can reach a Micronaut HTTP endpoint can repeat malformed headers until heap pressure interrupts the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
