Reflected XSS via unescaped history-dashboard URL
Published Jul 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in W3 Eden WordPress Download Manager before 3.2.44 allows remote attackers to run script via a crafted history-dashboard URL. The history dashboard places a generated URL containing attacker-controlled user_ids[] data into an HTML attribute without output escaping. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to follow the crafted dashboard link, causing script execution in that user’s browser under the affected site’s origin.
