Insufficient policy enforcement in Google Chrome on Windows before 103.0.5060.53 allows remote attackers to bypass file-system access via a crafted HTML page. The File System API fails to enforce its access policy when processing page-controlled requests, allowing a malicious page to reach files outside the permissions normally granted to web content. Exploitation requires remote delivery of the crafted page and user loading it in an affected Windows Chrome instance; the demonstrated impact is unauthorized file access, with no evidence in the record of code execution or service interruption.
