CVE-2022-21589Network attack vector

Authenticated data disclosure via undisclosed privilege flaw

Published Oct 18, 2022 · Updated Sep 24, 2024

Information disclosure in Oracle MySQL Server 5.7.39 and earlier and 8.0.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read data. Oracle identifies the Server: Security: Privileges component but has not published the faulty operation or input that defeats its authorization checks. Exploitation requires a low-privileged account and network access over a supported protocol; the result is limited to unauthorized reads of some accessible data.
